A Subaru that's broken? Did you get the bad one?

I have owned a few, and all the family has too. I've found them very easy to work on. What sort of issues has it got?
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Hey Railey, in our experience with our Forester, these guys are excellent: Pierre Collet Motors - Home
They're on Burwood hwy in Burwood. Straight up, good fellas.

It's an 06 Impreza. Wife came home complaining of a weird smell. Popped the bonnet and had a look and found CV boot on passenger side has a tear. It's thrown its oil all over back side of the engine. Also just general service. We used to use Makin & Luby, but they have changed owners and now primarily deal in Suzuki.

Yeah that's not far from my work in Box Hill. Might have to check them out. Would just swap cars. Too easy!

There is a great one in tullamarine. My brothers liberty had the exact same thing happen.

Looks like it's going to be an axle replacement. It'd have to come out anyway. How hard is that to do with all the AWD? Any harder than a D1?

Very simple job on a Subaru. No need to replace the driveshaft, just clean and regrease the joint and put a new boot on.
