I too use the Export degreaser. Its cheap and doesn't send alloys scally.
A can every couple of months on a TD5,dont bother rinsing off.Not yet dared or needed to use it on the D4.

All degreasers are either alkaline/caustic based or solvent based.

If I am buying a an alkaline/caustic degreaser I purchase it based on how much active ingredient it has for the price.

I don't own a Land Rover at the moment so have no use for it.

I have a heap of half used engine, gearbox, steering, transmission etc oils in my shed just crying out for another LandRover.

My carport floor is also clean. It's not much fun.

Don't follow my lead and opt for the SCA homebrand in the 5 litre bottle.
