    Penrite Radiator Coolant Test Strips

Today I bought some of the above from Repco. I find step 4., ambiguous, see attachment. This is the test for Freezing/Boiling Point. It says ‘if the first pad colour is between 33% and 50% no further service is recommended’.

Does it mean that if that test is okay you don’t have to do anymore tests for Reserve Alkalinity and pH?

I can phone Penrite for the answer but someone may be able to set me right on this forum.

My interpretation of that means if it passes the 1st test you then check the results of the 2nd test, if that passes check 3rd and so on. But if it fails the 1st test you need to replace the coolant regardless of the other tests.
