    Increasing 4WD Gross Vehicle Mass

Gross vehicle mass increases for 4WDs
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

That is mainly for the Jap/Thialand brigade.

What isn't mentioned is the increase of vehicle GVM pre rego, can in some instances, reduce LCT to zero.

Don't know if its Aus wide, but has been going on in Qld for quite a while, and keeping many suspension shops busy.

I read somewhere recently that an increase in GVM does not increase GCM.
Ie if the intention is to tow a heavier caravan it is not allowed.

Some specific upgrades can in certain circumstances have both.

Personally, I see that is seriously pushing the boundaries of common sense and a more appropriate towing vehicle should be looked at (or a more appropriate van)

I see some around here push the LC200 GVM up to around 4200KG.

Thats a hell of a lot more weight than the vehicle was ever designed for.

Sure it has to have some major mods, but as said, another more suitable vehicle is the real answer.

At the risk of ridicule, I will post this . The key to it is the Modifications needed to bring the 79 series Toyota ute up to a higher spec, mind you it would be a very capable vehicle, but very expensive, all the same.

I took this pic at the last Brisvegas camping show. This figure is on top of the purchase price of the vehicle.
