    Moke

Just thought I'd share some pictures of my Mini Moke, nearly finished!

    Should be fun!

    Nice.

So, is Moking a wealth hazard? ?

    Cheers

Its an 1380cc A series bottom end, limited slip four pin diff, lightened and balanced,
VW intercooler, 911 injectors, uprated Cooper S drive shafts, BMW K1100 motorbike cylinder head.
The turbo will be "bagged" the first one did just under 200bhp atw, this with some modifications should easily hit the 220bhp mark, should be fun.
You should see HSV and FPV drivers faces at the lights, great up until the aerodynamics kick in!

    Isn't everything us blokes enjoy!
I have a spread sheet on everything I have bought, I try and not look at it too often! Other than restoring motorbikes I haven't got any other hobby!

Couple of pictures of the engine.

Very nice, my first car was a Mini Moke, my last is the Defender, nothing so radical in the student days.

What seats are you going for,
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I would love a Moke. We had one as a kid. I can't see the ex- wife being happy with me putting the kids in it. I had to sell the Defender because of this. As a kid we didn't even have seats in the back. How times have changed. In the military in helos we call this OCL or operational contingency loading and the Generals never sign off on this anymore. The soldiers used to love hanging their feet out the side.

I reckon the F6 would still give it a touch up.
