Tyre advice for an Aussie muscle car

Ok. a question for the Aussie muscle car entusiests.
The boss has an XA GT. He's looking for some new tyres for it.
Ideally they would be 225 60 15, with a plain side wall (because he wants to redwall them) and an OK tread pattern for such a vehicle.

    What's your recommendation, guys?

    Not according to this site

I used to have 225 60 15 G-grid 2 tyres on the Commodore. They were excellent and as common as muck. Only replaced them last year.
I went for a higher profile narrower tyre.

If he's not racing, Bridgestone Supercats are good all round tyres, I used to flog the crap out of them on my P76, wet and dry. Very predictable handling.

Supercats have my vote as well. A good looking (IMO) tyre on a classic style rim (Globes).
