    Nissan Sd33 6cyl diesel

Has anyone seen or done this conversion before?
I heard of one in a 110 but not a series 3 as i am contemplating.
My truck is a 6cylinder 109 chassis so there should be plenty of room for it though I may need to move the radiator forward a bit.
I plan to use the Nissan 4 speed gearbox and transfer case to keep it simple and to eliminate any broken gearbox issues.
Incidentally I will soon have a good Holden 202 and 6cylinder gearbox up for sale, so hopefully they will pay for the new engine!

Yeah but the ED33 is a completly different animal to SD33. ED33 is 4cyl and SD33 is six cylinder.
The motor and box im looking at is from an MQ patrol

You may also have to remove the cross-member immediately behind the SIII gearbox, as the 110 doesn't have that item.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
