Glow plugs aren't needed on a Tdi unless you live in alpine regions. Many don't bother wiring them up in AU.
The most important wire is an ignition wire to work the IP cutout.
The only (relevant) senders on the motor are oil pressure (light) and water temp (guage). The light will of course work fine, the guage may work, but how will you know it is accurate? TDI guages are useless, so you may as well swap to a VDO guage and sender when doing the conversion.
