Normal problems you will encounter are gearing and overheating. Fit a high ratio transfer case and a large new radiator and you'll be fine.
As I have said in another thread,I'm putting a 253 V8 in my 109' IIA and I have a Dello Adaptor for it to bolt to the gearbox thats already in it.The question is..what's the general concensus on the Adaptor.....Is it good OR Is it bad.???? I have read there are other better choices.............
Thanx Tonestar.

Bad very bad, Dello adapters have a reputation for poor quality control, being out of alignment and at times not even parallel front to back.
If you have one and wish to proceed then I would be having someone with an engineering table check out all the alignments and measurements before fitting it up.
