Hi Dave
Just to clarify re the lift kit... it is a 2" spacer lift and and extra 3" of travel due to the Gen III's.... Hence the term 5+" Extended Travel Kit.
Since changing over to the new style rear spacers, there has been no negative affect on handling from the previous setup.
I'm hoping to change over the front shocks this weekend for a set of adjustables and try some different firmness settings to see what works.
Might be getting another set next week to try out at the rear as well.
We've got enough stock at the moment to make up about 6 sets of rear spacers but only 1 and 1/2 sets of fronts. I'm hoping to get the quotes back this coming week to get more made up.
Still got a few full sets of Gen III's, but I may yet buy a set of these myself to swap over my old ones to see if there is any difference... dunno, just curious... mine have had a lot of thrashing by me and previously by Hardy in the almost 5 years they have been on the Hard Rangie.
Sway bar disconnects should arrive this week too, so it is almost complete.
I'm having problems sourcing the extended bump stops, but have about 3 full sets in stock. Need to get these fabricated ASAP.
Happy to split the stock up if you want Dave. I don't know what the final price of the kit is going to be yet until we get the component quotes in, and figure out what shock combination works best. I don't want to cobble something together for the sake of being able to sell something, I'd rather take it a bit slower and get proper engineering advice along the way to make sure we get a quality product that we are prepared to stand behind.
re Bash plate and sliders - the Snorkel is top priority at the moment, but Andy has some great ideas that he is playing around with at the moment. The bash plate will be intended, at least initially, to work with the HRA Roo Bars. It probably won't come down as far as the diff, so a diff guard would be a good idea. I'll let you know how it goes with mine.
Dave - I'll keep you informed off-line from here on progress, and will post some more details up in The Verandah when the products are ready to go.
Cheers, Paul.
