Winch cradles have been around for a while,, (for the Warn High Mount anyway),, but their heavy when you want to move them from front to back if your on your own. It also means they protrude out further than you really want, so it reduces your ramp angle, and you may not always have the room to manouver them into the fitting,,

That, is a very good idea.

Being able to swap the winch to the rear, could be a life saver.

I know there has been times when i had my old GQ, this would have been good, having to winch through the bog then try to turn back around etc..prob would not be used very often but the option would be great.

AND... not to mention being able to move the unit across vehicles. I would probably shift one between the pig and Mrs car (and shed I guess). AND yeah front to rear movement would also be sensational... I had to put mrs & kids out of her car last weekend as we were sliding sideways down a sloppy hill with no traction (unless gunning) and too steep with too many wash outs too close together to really be gunning it. Would love to have had ability to winch down it and not upset seating arrangements.

RonRon's site has been around for a while. I think it's safe. He's also on the RRNET forum.

I know very litle about this PC virus caper although I did manage to collect a trojan horse once. Lucky me! But could a virus have contaminated that site unbeknown to the owner?
