no problems with advertising, its just got to be in the right spot, there is a markets area up top where you can place an as and a markets alert forum on the main page......
what are you moving onto
I would like to inform everyone that it looks like as with Aussie, I too will soon have to depart the clan of the P38.
I still owe a substantial amount of money on it and with all the work that has been done to it the head has taken over from the heart and it's time to say a sad goodbye.
The P38 has been an educational experience to say the least, it has been great studying all about these 'sirens' of cars and reading every one else experiences with them.
I know I am not allowed to advertise, so you know where it is if you know someone who wants one in W.A.
xx Kalincho

Sorry to hear this ... what are you updating to?
Mike
At this stage, the priority will be clearing the loan, I will have go back to a one car family... shudder to think the Mrs. car is a 2000 Mazda protege! I train to work so the two cars spend most of the week in the carport.
I would like to one day go the Deefer 130 route. something diesel in nature.
Well you must have the bug ... going from a luxury pack to the brick

A very sad but perfectly understandable decision. But I think you're going to miss it....
I am having second thoughts, please let this thread sink to the last page and then we we see where we are at.. You don't realize how much time you spend checking up on the Forum's to see whats been going on...![]()
Kalincho I am happy with the fact that I took a punt and purchased a Vehicle that I have always admired from an early age. There are 2 factors that sealed the decision for me in the end.
1) These vehicles arent getting any younger and for me the list of repairs that I carried out just seemed to be getting excessive.
2) Lack of confidence in taking long trips. I purchased the RR specifically
for long trips that I had planned. I still havent done those trips due to the fact that my brain is telling me its not a good idea. I figured why have it if I cant use it for what I wanted too. This was the crunch for me, Even after spending time and effort and $$$
Aussie, I completely agree, almost word for word. I think since I cooked the first motor so far from home, I am psychologically scarred! I have put more and more money into making it reliable only to be more paranoid that something may go wrong, not knowing as much about mechanics, makes me even more nervous! Though I have had a valuable life lesson owning this P38.
