Crikey!
I think the roof is welded on unlike the classics.
I just looked at MicroCat.

ALR1227 - Roof non-sunroof
Maybe Andrew E can help out with more info.
What about one of the dent removal mobs?
Has anyone ever been this unlucky and silly in one hour?
Have a working bee at the kids Kinder tomorrow so had to collect my wheelbarrow back from Dads place (who was too bloody lazy to bring it back to me!). Stood in dog **** getting it out of the old boys yard, then didnt wipe it off well enough and stomped it onto the back tailgate whilst putting wheel barrow on roof rack. Jumped in car cursing and sat on my sun glasses and broke them. Drive home, back into the car port... and literally back into it! Wheel barrow up high smashes into carport roof and mashes itself into the roof basket which then shatters mounts on roof bars and all comes down to dent roof in quite a few places.
I count three sillies in an hour!
So now I am wondering, does anyone have knowledge of repairs (and associated costs) on a P38 roof? Is it a replacable part?

Sounds like the time I drove into my carport with the ute crane mounted on the S2a. Fortunately the dint in the front of the carport is not very noticeable, and the crane and its mounts stood up pretty well.

1st of all wow
2nd bummer
bummer on the roof, but i would be more p-d off about the dog crap smell.
roof is welded on, only replace it if you are getting your insurance to pay for it.
Get a quote from a paintless dent removal mob, it may work out less than your excess.

I know how that feels. 2 days after lifting our disco and fitting bigger tyres my wife took the roof off at the local woolies. lucky insurance fixed it then straight after she drove home in such a mess, and forgot about the freshly laid concete driveway.
