Bent a piece of thin aluminium sheet to fit the hole - I think the guy I copied used perspex - either works.

Also I have now fitted a HRA Front Kangaroo Bar, so I no longer need my front spotlight switch (redundant) So I am going to install my rear locker switch in its place and my front locker (still to come) next to it, Ill move the rear spotlight button to the spare spot next to the cruise control on the far right ( mainly because i very rarely use it). thoughts?
Good chatting with you this arvo and again this evening Razza.

Mate, keep the front driving light switch, even if you relocate it, as you can use it later for the spots you mount on the HRA Roo Bar, as I have on mine.

As discussed, the green safety switch on mine simply provides power to the red "activate" switch to engage the locker solenoid. Just means I have to press two switches, or to put it bluntly... knock both switches with my knee before having a cornering/steering problem

Air for the locker is supplied from the resevoir and pressure reduced via a regulator to approx 60PSI (from memory).

    Cheers, Paul.

    Another on UK E-bay

Hi All, FYI, Another one of these genuine RR difflock switches has appeared on UK Ebay. From memory its listed as 25GBP or best offer. Thats a bit of an expensive switch, but genuine look is a good thing I guess! Dave

    Is this the missing question???

Anyone ever come across one of these fitted to a P38?

It's taken me about 6 weeks, but now the question suddenly springs to mind... is this a genuine LR switch designed to drive a genuine LR Diff-Lock?

    Any comments appreciated.

Hi Dave - that switch is the High/Low Range selector on manual P38a's. Never seen one in Aus, but fairly common in the UK apparently.

    Cheers, Paul.

    AAAH!

Thanks Paul, I am sure the one's advert'd in e-bay.UK are listed as diff lock switches... Ah well, if there was such a thing, I doubt I could afford a genuine LR locker anyway!!! Hoo-Roo, Dave.
P.S. Will call you tomoroow arvo about that order.

That and the sway bar disconnection and the P38 is a master.
I am very interested to hear more details about the cross linking. Since it is an impressive feature on the Gen3s so I would like to have it and it seems pretty simple.

What are the pros and cons 996Turbo? After your extended experience with it. Thanks!

Oops, repeated myself from a post 18 months ago... Serves me right for using my phone while sitting in the waiting room at the docs.

Glen - last time I spoke with Hardy he was driving a Triton ute for work and occasional play.

    Cheers, Paul.
