that sucks, how badly is it chewed? if the PCB is intact you "might" be able to get a cheapie remote off eBay or from a wreckers and replace the PCB.

    Cheers, Paul.

I'd like to know how this is done as all information thus far indicates it is impossible to program another key to an exisiting BECM. (I need a second key, too.)

Rupert, you sound like a very useful bloke for us all to know

Can you do keyfob renews (resolder buttons, contact etc) like the link Ron posted above? and if so, what sort of price please? Bexley is a lot closer than the UK.

    Cheers, Paul.

    hi Paul
yes i can test units for correct frequency, range, refit buttons, battery connectors etc. cost to refit buttons with a new cover and clean up would be about $40-$50 plus postage. if it is not repairable i do not charge.
    regards Rupert

Hi Rupert - sounds fair to me. Both of my keyfobs work, although sometimes a bit intermittently. I have replaced the batteries, battery cover, and button cover. Suspect they just need a bit of a refresh and checking connections to ensure reliable operation.

If you can PM me contact details I will send one of them to you for inspection/refresh.

    Cheers, Paul.

otherwise call me directly on 0421 509 083 and i can give you my details.
