    Rubber A Bar spec's???

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows what the spec's are for this
style of rubber coated a-bar. How much does one weigh? What are the W X H X D dimensions?

I think I may have made a mistake buying one in the UK last week... am now trying to work out freight and ouch its gonna hurt... any referrals to SUPER CHEAP sea freight companies appreciated. Am happy to wait a few months for it to come by sea.

OK, I asked this very question on RR.net over 2 years ago, and a kind gentleman in the USA went to his garage and took his brush bar into the bathroom and weighed all of the pieces for me. This is the answer ...

Big Center Piece: 21.5 pounds = 9.8 Kg

Each Wrap Around Piece: 9 pounds = 4.1Kg

    So 21.5 + 9 + 9 = 39.5 pounds (18Kg)

That's just the 3 pieces - no hardware - no fasteners.

PS, I can't measure mine right now, as I don't have access to it until tomorrow (hopefully).

880x580x110 mm are rough dimensions for just the A-bar on mine. The A-bar looks like if offers ok protection from radiator impact but the 'wings' wrap-around bits are largely cosmetic - as they are simply bolted onto the A-frame and not the car at all. They'd cave in with a good shove from a person let alone an actual impact

    MANY THANKS!

Many thanks again... thats exactly what I am after.

Hey Junosi how things? FYI, I am only getting the centre section at this stage and have a full set of light guards coming over with a freinds family member in July. I think this will be a nice looking set of additions to the pig, but may end up hunting for the side bits in the future!

BTW, freight is turning out ok as I used transglobal.org.uk (I think I was referred to this mob a while a go by Junosi) and they show a selection of providers and quotes. It appears DHL will be the best alternative at approx 50GBP and here in 3-5 days!

    Regards, Dave
