    Cooler plugs or standard?

Hi all, another question (im sure there will be hundreds more anyway..). With all the talk of overheating problems i'd like to avoid this if possible. So, is there a cooler thermostat and a cooler plug worth putting in? My radiator has been renewed only recently, and all houses are easily flexible at any engine temp, so hopefully my new beast hasnt experienced any problems. ( Was also pleased to see all new brake pads, 3 new airbags, and servicing at Graeme Coopers..). Hoping to keep it cool!

A cooler thermostat will only cause the injection to think the engine is cold and richen the mixture , as a choke does, so little you can do but make sure that the correct thermostat is fitted.BTW cooler thermostats can cause the exact problem you have ie excessive fuel consumption, or it could be the injection temperature sensor.

Cooler plugs ? are used when the tip of the plug heats too much and causes detonation. Nothing to do with engine temp, so no cooler plugs will only cause poor running in the city.
