    Intro & Floor Mats question.

    Gents

    Hello All.
I have been lurking on this forum absorbing hints e.t.c for a few months, many thanks to all the knowledgeable types. I have a stock 97' P38. Many bits have been replaced and to date its running well, with the most recent work being a rebuild of the EAS compressor and brake modulator.

My first query is does anybody have a good source for some H/D floor mats and cargo liner?

    Cheers

I'll check with my suppliers to get a quote and delivery timeframe. Have been meaning to stock a few sets of these anyway.

There's always eBay, but I guess you've already tried there.

    Cheers
    Paul.

Hi Ranger Got a set of genuine carpet mats off Ebay UK from Rimmer Bros. $193 including Delivery.[ Local dealers wanted $370-$390 plus GST for same part number. what gives] Ordered Friday afternoon local post office rang Tuesday to say Mats had arrived. Bloody fast delivery. Fantastic quality. Price may depend on colour.
As for cargo mat had a good price direct from Bearmach for BA3141, 4" sides( most others only 3") freight was the killer. May be Paul can organize something or we could get a couple together and share costs. If interested P.M. me & I will try and find prices again & contact Bearmach to see if still willing to deal. Hope I have broken any forum rules. I'm not a dealer just a farmer not wanting to be ripped off.

    PM sent.

Thanks Paul, had a look at HRA but you did not stock these things. If you can source some solid H/D rubber floormats I would grab a set. Not keen on more carpet ones as the idea is to be able to clean them with the Gerni!

    Just an update for all

Ordered what I thought was Bearmach BA3141 cargo liner from Rimmer Brothers in the UK. $127.90 + Shipping. Now this is where it got interesting Shipping cost not available till after I had committed to buy. Then receive invoice goods sent .Shipping costs $315 *#^* hell.
After complaining they have offered to split shipping costs. So be warned.
Also I'm not getting BA3141 but a different brand. Had used their search engine and assumed that the new part no was their own internal part no for same thing NO.
I've learnt to do a lot more checking next time
As stated previously had been happy with their service Now have second thoughts.

I went to supercheap for my rubber floor mats! Fronts + Rears for about $50! They might not be branded with Range Rover all over them, but they'll hold an inch of water/mud before my carpets get dirty and i pull them out and hose them down no worries!

As for the cargo area liner, i'm unsure of this... I went into my local rubber joint and layed down the measurements and cut my own one out! Same thing, about $80 for that and it fits like a gem!

similar to Keithy P38... bought a set of what I call "bucket mats" for the front...they also have a flap which extends up the firewall..very handy for catching the drips from an -as-yet-to-be-identified leak... $38 for the pair ...impulse buy passing through Cairns...

    EDIT:
PS have bought a lot of stuff from http://www.britishparts.co.uk/ As a matter of procedure, you order the parts then they send an email with the delivery cost added. The order is not processed until you confirm the amended amount including the delivery cost... works well.
