Nice colour coding job Captain!
Did a fitting of the recast V3 RAI today with custom head on to my P38.

Head now sits flush/lower than roofline.

Also changing the way it mounts to the A-pillar. Two holes required through the plastic trim, but not big notches any more.
That head? It is integral to the RAI itself. If you want to swap for a Safari, Mantec or other, you will need to cut it off and adapt the other head.
Timing you ask? Has it been a year already? :o Another week for this mould to be made, tested, painted (GM Black) and then fitted to a car for road testing. My blue or black Rangies are the likely candidates but fitting is restricted by my availability... considering asking for a volunteer in W/SW Sydney who can make themselves available for fitting and testing of the RAI (might be one visit, might be a few)... downside is you will have a hole in the front LH guard and some damage to the LH A-Pillar... upside is you will get to kep the RAI as a thank you.
Cheers, Paul.
