They were fitted to a few of the LR shirts that a guy was selling at the Expo.
This is a very poor photo but you can just make it out to the right of the 2nd button from the bottom.

The question that must be asked is... why?
I like them, just can't find a use for them.
A mini bottle opener, or a tool to clean the mud off your bootstraps perhaps?
Bet it was a Victorian idea to keep us northerners wondering, just like hook turns and Grand Final re-matches
Maybe we should start a new thread in the General Chat forum asking people for the most creative use of these show bag goodies![]()
My toys, projects and write-ups at PaulP38a.com
Don't know about us 'Mexicans' inventing them, but I thought perhaps it was a drunk NSW'man sitting in his shed making little bottle openers for little beer drinking leprechauns (is that spelling right?).
Other thoughts...
Could one clean ones finger nails with them?
Are they Dr Evils left overs after putting a Disco under the shrinking ray?
Maybe some very fiddly tyre deflaters (F & R)?
Are they team hidden compensation payments to non Melbourne Storm players? Apparently no-one else has oil to grease the palms with up there!
Tata's contribution to the brand... Nano-tech "miniaturisation" test 1.0?
Perhaps we get a discount on the shirts if we supply and fit our own little tags? Sounds very LR'ish! Eeerr scrap that, can't remember LR ever offering me a discount!
Finally...
True story... I tried yesterday to give one to my 6 year old to put on his school bag (the prep's at his school collect key rings and wear them on their bags like war trophies!) and got told 'nah, no good dad'! But he did like the Michelin man (benebo?) one though.
