				later p38s were suposedly 433 (but some aren't) and early ones can be either 433 or 315 as some were up-graded to 433,  the problem is that some dealers did not keep accurate records and some up-grades were not done by dealers. the only way to know what you have is to test it and to read the FOB/bar code from the becm. 
  also do not buy a second hand (or new) remote unless you have a FOB/BAR code for that remote, without the code it is useless.
