Is it worth it
Would you pay $11000 for an immaculate looking P38A 1996?. It looks really great, dark metalic green with not a mark on it, beautiful interior,4.6HSE 167K klm. Its got all the books but didn't have time to look (dogs in the car hot sun). Thinking about going back tomorrow and having a serious look. It would be my third RR....i'm a slow learner

It seems a lot and I probably wouldn't but......given its 'immaculate' condition, have the known problems been attended to, looked after by a Landy workshop, on time servicing.....etc etc then maybe I would consider it along with some price negotiation.
But then too consider the old saying- he who hesitates loses. I saw a 'dream' P38 advertised on Carsales a week or so ago. I hesitated and a week later it was sold.....thank goodness.......saved me from having to buy it.
Haven't helped you much 51jay...sorry.

I just got a 2000 4.6 HSE for $11k a month ago with 226kkm without anything like immaculate paint and NO
logbooks. Seems like a slighty better deal than mine overall and I couldnt be happier

For its age it'd have to be very immaculate at that price! And you'd want to know its been serviced on time it's whole life!

I reckon that's not a bad price providing it as mentioned earlier it has been looked after, serviced regularly and good body. $11,000 is about the medium for a model of that year. Check all the airbags and make sure no air is hissing out somewhere.
I paid $12,880 with a drive away deal with 12months reg, 134,000km and a regular service book history. The only slight downside it had a small ding above the right hand side rear wheel arch and a few small stone chips on the bonnet, but then again i did buy it for off-road and is a small trade off for an A1 engine, powertrain & excellent interior.
