    Is it a scam?

That 1999 HSE for sale in QLD for $7,800!

Did anyone make contact with the seller?

I tried but have got no answer.

I can buy a plane ticket at a moments notice if it truely is for sale!

As they say... If it seems to good to be true.. it probably is!

This seems very cheap for this model. My senses tell me they're not telling us something.

Yes i think it's probably dodgy.

Several people have emailed the seller, no one has heard anything.

    Redbook trade-in price is $9,500 - $12,200

Only takes one or two tiny things wrong to knock off the extra value.

    Still probably a scam.

    I tell you whats missing!
The car when you part with your dosh.
As soon as they mention its for sale via ebay and you deposit funds into some account and the car will be cleared 3 days later even with some ebay documents, run, run like the ****ing wind.
I came across a scam like it on a X3 i was going to buy for darling wife and after many emails I went to the cops.
    Well was that a mistake.
They 1st did not want to know about but leave your file here anyway.
I did and 3 days later I was in there being asked 2 million questions and 6 hours later and one can of soft drink, those tight arses gave me.

It was appparently a group that has been watched for some time and since I spoke to them on the phone which was rare apparently they thought I made inroads and wanted me to go and make contact again.
    What a farce.

Never buy anything somebody can not go and touch and see.

Good luck all the same, it could well be a goer

The way the advert is written (and this is not intended to offend any female AULROlians) I would doubt that it was put together by a "Brenda". I would be sure that it was written by a bloke.

It looks nice and shiny, the engine bay looks clean, the interior looks tidy, and yet it is the cheapest on there by a mile.
Add that to the fact that there are no contact numbers, and contact is email only, it smells like a rotten old haddock.

Wouldn't it be great if someone here just HAPPENED - by chance, to work for the department of transport...

Not suggesting anything... not at all! But that's way too cheap for what it really looks like!

Do personalised plates like 'WRB49' often stay with the car when it's sold on to a new owner?
I wouldn't have thought so but I'm not in Qld.

In NSW they would be classed as custom plates & would attract a high annual fee so they would stay with the owner, not the car.
