    Yeah, first attempt, low 1st, second attempt low 2nd (manually locked), then in the blue range rover I used low 1st only!

    There's more momentum with the blue range rover IMHO.

    Momentum and even with slick tyres, you can climb anything , at least that's my 4wd instructor theory. (he's against muddy but i run higher size Km2 mainly for clearance reasons)

    Surprisingly not with regards to the blue range rover! I rekon it would have been sitting no higher than 1200rpm in low 1st! It crawled up no worries!

    I like the theory, I've taken my RR's off road on H/T rubber heaps of times, and I was the only one bogged on a few of the trips! Mind you, on sand I was one of 8 vehicles and 5 of them bogged and mine didn't!
