    VIBRATIONS: Accelerating & Deaccelerating

Just started doing this today all of a sudden. I'm guessing that it could be a diff or one of the prop shafts.

    Has anyone else had this??

can you make it do it while stationary or do you have to be driving?
if you only get it when driving check for mud stuck in the wheels, tyre damage or distorted tread, missing or moved weights, missing or lose wheel nuts, damaged or worn prop shafts. if you are carefull you can put it up on stands or a hoist and run it without the wheels on to help pinpoint the problem.
if you can make it happen while stationary it could be a miss fire or engine balance problem. with the hand brake on in park run the engine up past the peak piont of the vibration then quickly turn off the ignition switch. if the vibration is still there on the over run then it is most probably a balance problem (broken drive plate etc). if it disappears then it could be a missfire (plugs, leads, injectors etc)

Problem found. I took the vehicle in to my mechanic and found the UV joints on the prob shaft are gone. One was quiet severe and would have been only a matter of time before it give way. So they're being replaced even as we speak.

The vibrations were kicking in at speeds between 30 - 70km/h.
