About right... bit under half is better though. Check radiator for blockages, and/or condition and colour of the coolant.

maybe not so easy. Probably the Clarion. I think Ron (P38arover) found a fix for this.

Little plastic lug thingy on the catch has probably broken off. Pull the kick panel off RH footwell to expose the two cables and use a small set of multigrips to pull the LH cable until the catch releases. I got by with doing this for about a year before replacing the cable.

Commonly... check/replace the vacuum hoses at the LH rear of the engine bay behind the EAS box... or the CC ECU needs replacing. A diagnostics unit (FaultMate, Testbook etc) will not help with pre-99 CC units.

a sarcastic person might say "check the globe" but the warning will also pop up on the message centre if it is in fault.

Happy travelling and keep in touch.

    they are great to drive
Agreed JSP, my round trip from Canberra to Greendale over the weekend was a mere 1600Km compared with your 2400Km, but with some added interesting off-roading with some other folks from AULRO.

Covered in smelly mud and locusts, my p38 with it's lifted suspension, 33" muddies and 4.1 diffs happily cruised along "near" the speed limit all the way home last night

    Cheers, Paul.

All part of the fun. I was lucky in respect that when i bought mine that all the items were working. But the occasional thing will pop up every now and again i.e Fuel Pump.
