Performance Upgrades; Added Value or Resale Headache?
Hi all,
With 20:20 hindsight I probably should have asked this before I bought it, rather than as I'm selling. I have a 1995 P38 HSE that the previous owner spent an absolute fortune with at John E Davis (or whatever they are now called). It has a 5.0 litre bore, 2" stainless steel straight through exhaust and performance chip. To me at the time, it was an awesome car (well actually still is), but having found some difficulties in sourcing some parts for it so have upgraded for an L322 (a little vulgar, but more reliable).
My question is, with these upgrades should I be commanding a premium over the stock cars or will this detract value? It's otherwise in good good (but not exceptional) cosmetic condition, I have a FSH and have just redone the suspension.
Also, if anybody's interested, PM me.
Thanks
Chris

At face value it sounds like it's worth more than the standard P38 of similar k's and condition.
Start high and go from there...
