Engine oil cooler hoses (tip)
Completed changing some coolant bypass hoses and recharging the coolant on the RR today..........and i noticed my oil cooler hose on the drivers side of the radiator had a slight run (oil) it had obviously been sweating oil for some time after wiping the pipe and starting up it was obvious i had disturbed the hose joint to the pipe.
Back out to get a new hose
After talking to a LR mechanic i was told that it is common for the fitting thread and all to come out of the cooler/radiator (be careful)
These are aluminum fittings, after putting a spanner on the pipe nut it was obviously tight.WD40 and some heat and it was still tight.
A cold small cold chisel and a couple of sharp taps with a small hammer and she was off....few
