    compressor pumping to 145psi

Hi all have instaled Pauls bypass system all working with the guage on the tank line had a tiny leak on main line only under copressor pumping fixed now, question is is the comp suposed to pump to 145psi(1000 kpa) the air bags are sitting at about 75psi but the tank is way up there almost totaled my guage testing it.

    Thanks

Seems like your compressor is in good nic...... RangeRovers.net says........

"A compressor (housed beside the air tank on the Classic, in the engine compartment in a small enclosure labeled "EAS" on the 4.0/4.6, and in the spare wheel compartment in the Mk III) keeps system pressure within spec. This is between 7 and 10 Bar (100 and 150 psi) for the Classic and 4.0/4.6"

The pressure will drop a bit before the pressure switch demands more air

Thanks Wayne I have a 98 hse so the spec is up to 150psi that seems a large gap 100-150 but as long as its ok I'm happy

Your compressor will kick in at 100psi and should stop at 150psi!
