No need to take all the housing off, just remove the two screws holding the maf into the housing. These are security screws so can be a pig if you dont have the right bit. Spray your CRC cleaner into the Airflow orifices a couple of times. There are wires within that need the clean. Replace security screws with normal self tappers for easy removal next time

Hi again, Ok well mine is differant from the pic it is a sealed unit which I de riverted and removed cleaned and replaced but still not working propely so fiddeled with it and got my idel down to around 1100rpm think I will just replace it, ebay has the unit around $130.00 out of England any advice welcome.
