I spent half the day fitting lights and wiring etc to the bar and will strip it all off Tuesday or so to finalise the polishing and painting. Hadn't thought about production but will discuss with my mate who helped to build it he may be interested. It turned out great even managed to use the side brackets from the original bar on this one so four bolts and it all comes off. I will post pictures when i have it finished.

If your not going to go into production, which I hope you do, would you be able to take dimensions and photos and allow others to 'copy' your hard work, without the hard work!

    Regards

My mate is away for the holidays i will discuss with him regarding manufacture as i said earlier we were able to use all original mounting points. The whole thing comes off with four bolts but is supported the same as original on the sides with slide in mounts and clips. I would produce it with work light mounting and rear lights so it would be a straight install if we were to go ahead with it. Would like to know if more people are interested so i have some idea of numbers then i can work out prices etc.

Rear bar looks great Frank, complements the front one. Have you suggested to Deb you make a set for the Disco

Seen the bar in person today, looks really good, except i think it needs some sort of surround around the tail lights.

As promised here is the painted version still need to add a work light and latch for jerry can. Will add a fold down table on the inside to meet up with the tail gate when it is open giving an "L" shaped kitchen area. So far i have added the side steps (home made) the winch bar purchased from Hi-line Traralgon and the rear bar also home made. Really happy with the outcome.
