I wonder could you tap into the individual solenoids with a set of four secondary switches to allow opening/venting in the event of an eas fault?

I'm sitting on the balcony of my unit in Crete, overlooking the beautiful 'something or other' sea and wondering if this is just getting all too complicated.

Why not just use the 'Murphy' factor.

Take the parts required to fix the problem and then that item will never break down!

I carry one air spring, four individual air valves, a couple of joiners and a few inches of air hose. Plus the O rings and bits from the last refurb of the valve block and compressor. And of course another compressor for tyre pressure duties.

Anyway, I've got more important things to do now than worry about my car resting back home.

I've got to figure out how I can possibly put up with drinking Raki, and eating so much lovely food for the next couple of weeks.

    Pray for me!!!

here you go! EAS Manual Electric Control - Under Hood - DIY

The photo links appear to be broken.. not sure how to get the new masters of RR.net to fix it... it's a box with a bunch of switches which does exactly what you suggest!
    cheers

EDIT: while the post is some 5 yrs old, you'll no doubt recognise the OP (Malafax_dand) as Storey Wilson who deserves a place on the P38 heroes Honour Board for his developing the EAS Unlock app.and bequeathing it free of charge to the P38 world wide community

Sounds like you are doing Gallipoli for ANZAC Day?

Please take and post some photo's for us back here if you can.

It's on our "To Do/Bucket List" along with Kakoda Track and a look around places Dad served in Vietnam. Should satisfy the questions I have in my head to try and understand the crap "our team" went through to give us the relatively comfortable and mostly free life we have today.

No doubt I will be shedding a tear next to Dad at the Melbourne Shrine ANZAC day dawn service again... that damn last post gets me every time.

No DT, we're not going to Gallipoili. Just doing our bit for Greece's ailing economy.

My daughter did Gallipolli last year and said is incredibly moving, but a lot of hard work with the cold, the crowd, the walking.

    Sounded too much for me.

    I'd never make a digger!

Crete's a bit of a disappointment, haven't seen any Rangies at all!

Athens seemed to have more Rangies than any other 4wd, but on Crete its all Hiluxes again.

Anyway, back to the hard life!

Interesting about the number of Rangies in Greece. I have sold EAS repair kits and EAS Unlock Cables all over Europe and the Mediterranean but none to Greece.
Maybe they are a bit more self sufficient?

Nice to see you taking one for the team Trev
