    Off roading in Crete

I'm presently holidaying on the beautiful island of Crete, Greece.

I'ts hard work but, someone has to do it!

Been here nearly a week and I've only seen 2 Rangies, 1 Classic and 1 L322. Mostly old Hiluxes and a few Suzukis.

After driving around this lovely island in my rented Italian sportscar, (Fiat Panda), I can see that in the mountains there seem to be many, very steep trails leading somewhere.

Four wheel driving around here would be fantastic!!

Very steep, very narrow tracks leading, I'm sure, to magnificent views.

Makes me wonder, we run tours at home in the Brindabellas, Canberra, so maybe we should pull up stumps and relocate the P38 to cater for the pommy tourist who wants a bit of a thrill.

Then again, driving the Panda around the streets of Chania, on the wrong side of the road, is already a huge thrill without the need to do it in something the size of the Rangie.
