Thanks for the helpful tips Benji, and specially jsp for the great photos, they are a huge help to me.
Poleonpom that is very nice of you for the help offer, it would be interesting to see how you accessed your LHS blend motor before I tackle mine.
I just had a look and the leak is still present, although much slower since doing the o rings.
So it looks like I'll be tackling the heater core and the blend motor one day not too far away. It will be good to see that book symbol gone from my display when it's done.
I just need to find a a couple of free days to allow plenty of time!

Old thread but still a ongoing problem

Full marks to those who posted on this old thread, also to Atlantic British for these exceptional instructions and pictures.

    300 Multiple Choices...

Coopers wanted the vehicle for a week and $3 grand to do it and I ain't that well off.

Despite decades of working on these beasts, I'm shuddering at the thought of doing this job (just fixed the right-front window regulator and that was bad enough).

Does anyone in Sydney, Canberra or the Southern Highlands with appropriate experience want to do the job for (or with) me, sometime before next autumn?

Happy to pay a reasonable amount of money

Have you posted this in the right area? I thought you had an RRC.
