    "A" pillar interior handle

My vertically challenged wife wants a entry assist handle on the inside of the "A" pillar on the passenger side. The roof one is not positioned quite right. I bought another P38 interior handle and pulled off the A piller trim to investigate stury attachment points. To my amazement, there is factory captive nuts in the perfect spot for a jesus handle that look to accept M8 bolts. I was very happy until I lined up the P38 handle and it had different spacing.

Does anyone know if a handle there was an option, and if I can get an OEM part to bolt on there? If not, what are the factory captive nuts for?

    Thanks!

Anybody got access to any parts listings that may be able to identify a part number for this jesus handle? I would love to have a shmick looking OEM one installed. I can think of no other reason for the captive nuts to be there...

I had a look through the P38A parts book but couldn't see anything suitable.

I've been thinking the same thing after putting additional one on drivers side but is awkward to use properly especially offroad. I have these on my HiAce van on a pillars & they are very useful I will check spacing to see if they may also fit on the Fantom. Will let you all know soon.
