    ABS and Traction Control

    Morning fellas
This morning I started my 4.6 HSE to drive to work and the traction control and ABS lights stayed on and I got a fault message on my display. Is this what people call the 3 amigos except I only have 2?

Any clues on where to start looking as I need to remedy it prior to sale, sadly it has to go, new engine, radiator, fuse box the works, enough is enough.

    Regards
    David

It's telling you it doesn't want to go .

ABS faults are fairly rare on the P38 so if you've checked the wiring to the wheel speed sensors & it looks OK, then you might need to have the system plugged into some diagnostic gear.

Thanks Scott, it still drives OK, looks like off to the stealer to see what the fault really is. I was sort of hoping it may have been a simple fix LOL.

You could try giving it a re-boot (as long as you have radio code) by unplugging the battery for 5 mins and see if the fault clears itself.

    Stranger things have happened.
    Hoo-Roo,

Cheers Dave anything is worth a try at the minute rather than fork over some hard earned. I will let you know how I get on,
