    Hi Gary,
    I like your idea of using EAS switch. I have just completed same project except I set up a switch on panel in front of drivers seat and LED on dash above EAS switch, my light comes on RED when eas is switched to off position & I also have installed a Green LED next to it that comes on when eas pump is running. I have unplugged cruise control switch and left it in on position behind dash and installed 2x difflock (original P38 diesel ) into spare slot & cruise slot in dash ready for next upgrade to front & rear lockers.
    Might I suggest you move cruise & hazard switches 1 spot left and place your new eas cutoff next to other eas switches.

    I'll check the cable length when I get a chance. I'm traveling for the next couple of weeks so any projects i have will have to be put on hold. But I do like the idea of collecting all the EAS switches together. Once I'm home again I'm sure there will be a list of non Rangie jobs to do before I can get some time for myself.

    Urrrrrmmm........true. But then I am an Urban Cowboy and my P38 has not seen a scrap of dirt yet. :LOL
