Yeah spoke to someone about it tonight, but he wasn't sure wether they are suitable for P38's, as they're more so made for the defenders & D1 & D2's.

I don't know how good they are either

Whoever you spoke to was smoking some good stuff. They have been made for a big range of vehicles, not just landies. If they don't make a P38 version then they probably will soon.

IMHO the McNamara (Prolocker) design is the best (technically). On top of that I don't know anyone who has ever had a problem with one.

Ashcroft have never had one returned full stop. They use the same lockers we get on their comp trucks too with zero breakages to date.

Even for the simple fact they don't leak air like the others, that's where my money is!

Mine has had plenty of use in the 2yrs I've had it fitted, engages very quickly!

That was the first thing I told Dave Ashcroft after installing our first Locker.

They were used and abused in our D90 with out any issues.

Neither do MDE of McNamara/Prolocker designs. The ARB is the only locker with a reputation for air leaks.

    That's good to know!

I have a mate with a pro locker that leaks. Hates axle seals like the plague!

That's exactly what my mechanic said. He has a modified D2 with 2 Ashcroft lockers and swears by them. Though he reckons I'd be the only P38 in Vic to have a locker installed, now please tell me that's no true .....

I did have a closer look at the TJMs, and are certainly cheaper, but I must say that I'm not a huge fan of their customer service after a recent encounter.
