Unless there's sideways pressure on the pipe it'll be orings.
When I put the emergency eas kit in I found out that there was a very minor leak in the tank connection to the valve block. But it was so little that the car still had enough air to go up even after sitting for a day or two. Only knew there was a leak because the gauge went down to 100PSI overnight and a vague bubble from detergent.
But it has now got a little worse and goes down overnight and I don't really wanna wear the pump out having to pump the tank every day.
I have taken the hose out of the quick connect and cut the end off hoping it would fix the problem but no luck there. It appears like it is not leaking where the hose goes into the connector but around the outside/button part of the connector, perhaps where the connector goes into the valve block? Is this likely?
I'm guessing I may have to pull all the bits off the top and get the valve block out to fix the connector, replace the connector or just replace an o-ring?
Unless there's sideways pressure on the pipe it'll be orings.
These o-rings are in between the connectors and the valve block are they? Will I need to pull the valve block out to replace it. Guessing so.
Hmm might need to find the workshop manual I haven't had to use yet![]()
Oh thanks. Looks like thus weekend might be a day to fish it out then. Then turn the eas off until I get the right o-ring I guess.
check out EAS Valve Block Rebuild Guide « PaulP38A.com ...scroll towards end of page to see details of o-ring replacement.

Cheers. I'll be sure to check it out for the remaining o-rings.
I went out to be a bearing place this morning and bought an o-ring that had marginally larger out diameter but a good fit over the hose. A good seal now and no more pumping of the air tank each morning.
