    Compressor Pump Rebuild

Hi just wondering if there is anyone in Oz who does a complete rebuild of pump, I know you can get kits for piston but I have seen that others repair bearing, contacts etc, something thats a bit beyond me.
So please let me know of any or comments of which way to go.
    Thanks Taffy

there is also an aftermarket Thomas pump which with minor modification will fit & deliver higher volume in less time. it's actually the same pump as my re-inflaing off road pump.
Google or do a search on here or Rover Renovations ? there is definitely a thread on it somewhere.

Tasi - Rover Renovations used to sell the Thomas 327 compressor as a replacement for the stock EAS Compressor. This is what I fitted to my blue Hard Rangie. Was a good compressor until it failed and then I could not get aftermarket parts for it.

I went back to a stock compressor knowing that I could source parts easily... I kept most parts in stock, and still have a lot left now, which is just as well as my wife's P38 EAS Compressor threw the crank arm a few days ago

I also have a Viair compressor ready to fit as a supplementary unit when she lets me play.

Taffy - changing the internal parts over on the EAS Compressor is not difficult, and I still have most instructions published up at hardrange.com

    Cheers, Paul.

When my LSEs' pump died I had the comporessor rebuilt in an effort to save some money. Six months later the electric side of the pump burnt out so I had to pay for a complete new pump. My attempt at a repair performed economically failed miserably. All up it ended up costing me just over $1G - twice the price of having a new pump fitted.

Just buy a new Landrover pump and then forget it for the next 250,000 kms.
