Battle scar (bush pin stripe) removal
I've just been cleaning and polishing the car after a great little trip around Wilbinga through to Two Rocks. For those from not around Perth and are not familiar with the area it is synonymous for great sand driving among the scrubby coastal heath and up and down the soft sand dunes as well as driving on the beach. All in all a good fun area only half an hours drive from home
.
During the wash down and polish I thought I might put up a post to see what others are using to polish out the bush pin stripes. Having a wide black car does have some disadvantages when it comes to keeping it clean and shiny.
For myself I have been using RE-PO paint doctor on the deeper scratches and Mothers seal and glaze on the smaller scratches and overall for a good shine

Has your product worked to remove the pin stripes? I use a Meguiars polish with good results. It didn't remove the big battlescar from my bag popping incident a year ago (deep and big) but got rid of pretty much all the rest.
I'd be interested in one that removes water spots... Mine doesn't do a good job of that, and I don't want to use a cutting compound.

The RE-PO paint doctor does a pretty good job on the water marks, but so does some diluted white vinegar and a chamois.
