    Different lock question

I don't like the idea of having only one keylock on the p38. If it messes up,
    what are your alternatives?
Could you use a RH door latch along with a LH door latch? At least you could get in?

I presume you have another lock with a key?
Why dont you just get a blade only key cut if its access you are worried about or like me order a transponder remote from the dealer for peace of mind. I have already had the car lock on me with the key in the ignition so the spare has saved the day already

As Wayne suggested get a blade key cut & find a nice hiding spot underneath somewhere to tie it to that way if you leave key inside car you have another to fall back on so to speak! My ex missus was always locking herself out of car ( not rangie ) and calling me out to rescue her. So this was my solution, that way she didn't have to wait for someone else ( notably me) to come to the rescue!

What I am wondering about is if the lock in the door goes bad, you could be
out of luck. With my luck, the fob would also be knackered.
