    Some of the clips make me shudder with the amount of panel damage being done. Couldn't subject my precious Nora the roarer to such abuse! She'd faint.

    That's the benefit of really cheap P38's and spares over there hey... It's the UK version of a GQ patrol by the looks of it ;-)

    Yeah my old man is a motor mechanic and lives not too far from a whole heap of scrap yards in Bury, Lancs - which comes in very handy from time to time (shipping costs being the deciding factor). Whenever I visit, I always have a trawl around with him and am continually amazed at what resides in the scrappers for breaking - P38 wise. A consequence of maintenance, fuel and insurance costs.

    The salable V8 petrols with MOT are generally under a grand. They have to have LPG to fetch >GBP1k. Often thought about bringing one over for spares - but no doubt it'd be more trouble than its worth.
