    Id tend to think its the exhaust. Its only two bolts to undo the muffler. Wouldn't drive it on the road but a few revs and youll notice if theres any difference.

    Start with the simple stuff; fuel filter would be my first step as engine falters under load but will rev freely when in park = physical constriction or low pump pressure

    Plugs do get loose in the block. Had exactly the same experience
