Blend and Distribution - electrical values

I know I have seen these values somewhere previously - but after an hour or so searching I now give up.

I need current draw (amps) values for these motors.
My blend motors are drawing about 0.4 amps off a 9v battery.

The distribution motor is drawing around 0.6 amps.
Is this too high and I am now needing to look for a mechanical bind in the box/flap area. It doesn't feel to bad to me when manually operated through its range. However the HEVAC is looking at the current and really doesn't care what I think.

I have replaced the pots (Aussie ebay special) and they read correct now,
    0 - 10 ohms.
    Many Thanks

Someone was once talking about swapping the blend motors with the motors used in remote control models. I know nothing about electronics but would love to learn, especially to fix the blend motors. If anyone can throw a bone and provide a walkthrough on how to fix them ( video, diagram etc) that would be excellent. Perhaps I can reyurn the favour on one of my specialties (beermaking?)
