    Exclamation EBC Greenstuff Pads issue

    Hi

    I was servicing my brake calipers when we noticed the shims on the new EBC pads had slipped down and were cutting into the brake disc

    See the attached pics, it seems the glue which has been used is not strong enough or melts under heat.

    I am not sure if this is a one off problem, but I suggest anyone with these pads fitted have a look and make sure your discs are OK

    I gather you got pads and slotted rotors the same time ? Who did you purchase them from ? I could possible help as a very good friend of mine is a RDA distributer If not go back where you got them

    Hi

    I got the discs locally through eBay but I couldn't source the pads locally so i got them from lrdirect in the UK.

    I have emailed EBC, and will email lrdirect as well

    Hi,

    Just to let everyone know that EBC have been prompt and efficient in replying to my email.

    They said this was not a "usual" problem and after consulting with the factory, have posted a new pair of shims to me at no cost.

    So a big thanks and a tick to EBC for excellent customer service and for standing behind their products
