    How old is your reservoir?

In Rave the internal switch is supposed to be removable. I don't know if it is a separately purchasable item. I recently replaced my whole reservoir which solved a whole raft of issues.

In RAVE, the brake fluid level switch (X111) is connected to the BeCM on connector C1289 on pin 16. I'd be checking to ensure that that connector (or connector port) is getting a solid contact. Maybe the switch is fine?

On the Becm, it is the connector on the front, on the lower row, second closest to the drivers door.
