When I first bought my Rangie (around 5 years ago) I bought a second key from Barbagallo's. Cost was a bit over $250 but that included the programming and checking on site.

Just got a quote for a spare key, 159 pounds inc VAT (GST). Will only supply in person so only those with relatives or friends need try.

I was quoted $650 -cash upfront ... by the main LR dealer in Brisbane and was informed that if it was wrong then tough luck. Emailed scanned paperwork (rego/driver's licence/bill of sale/inside page of owner's manual) to daughter who is living in London and she got a replacement for me for about 150 GBP. It arrived here and didn't work...she'd been given the wrong key and fob![]()
Took at least 2 months to sort out... sent close up photo of both sides of original key and replacement ... grossly different... LR UK finally sent her the correct fob and key ---personally delivered to her home address with the latest Range Rover key ring in a presentation box!!!So now I have two operating keys and fobs...but I need to resync each time I swap keys
even though I already had key #1 and the requested replacement is supposedly key#2... The LR dealer mentioned to her that they get occasional requests from Australia and the USA for P38 replacement fob/keys..
