"ease of reading" is something to be thought about when you are trying to keep your eyes on the road...
I started with the fuel trims. I put the F/T 1x1/short term (STF1) and Long Term (LTF1) in a row for bank 1 with bank 2 (F/T2x1/STFT2/LTFT2 , in a row underneath. This is with the phone screen in "landscape" position.
The 'gauges' are needle type with zero position "12 o'clock" and digital readout in the lower half of the gauge. This means that a quick glance shows all needles pointing "north" when it's running as it should..i.e. fluttering 1 or 2 percentage points either side of zero. Anything out of the ordinary is immediately obvious...

If you pay the princely sum of $5 and get the pro version, you can set the screen to "head up display" which produces a laterally inverted image. By placing the phone on top of the instrument binnacle at night you can see a readable reflection in the windscreen...
A 7" tablet is ideal ... "glass cockpit" display
