RH Indicator works intermittently
P38 2001 4.6HE
RH Indicator works intermittently. 4 way flashers work OK
When it works all OK, LH Indicator works OK.
When the car is hot (left in sun all day) RH indicator sometimes does not work. Sometimes works if you rattle the stalk but most times not.
Could this be Relay problem and if so where is Relay located?
Have no wiring diagrams to show what works what.
Any advice please

The indicators are operated by the BECM. The BECM even makes the 'click click' sound so you think it's a normal flasher unit.
If playing around with the switch fixes it, then it's probably a dodgy switch or a poor connection at the switch.

Intermittent working RH Indicator
Thanks Scouse
I have another Indicator stalk from a 1996 P38 so maybe I should just swap them out. Would the temperature have anything to do with the stalk not working properly, as it seems to be after a hot day that it wont work?

Temperature could affect a poor contact as the terminals are mounted in plastic blocks. A poor connection + ever so slight expansion = no contact........maybe.
